The Program

From participant to licensed delivery

M2M begins with 16 facilitated meetings (Orientation + 15 Workshops) of personal work. Men who complete the course may then qualify for facilitator training; certified facilitators deliver the program through an active organizational license.

The participant journey

The work happens in order

M2M is designed for a classroom or group setting, usually once a week. The schedule may be compressed, but the sequence remains intact: each session prepares the ground for the next.

01Orientation

Enter the room

Orientation establishes the language, group expectations, confidentiality and commitments that make honest work possible.

02Sessions 1–5

Examine the foundation

Participants trace beliefs, identity, moral values, choices and criminality back to the ideas shaping their behavior.

03Sessions 6–12

Practice accountability

Habits, attitudes, emotions, relationships, honesty, accountability and masculinity move reflection into daily conduct.

04Sessions 13–15

Integrate and commit

Respect, self-efficacy and personal commitments help each man name what changes after the final session.

Video

Each session opens with its own recorded workshop, played to the whole group.

Group discussion

Facilitated conversation and peer feedback, held to the agreements set in orientation.

Assignment

A short written assignment each week, brought back and worked in the next session.

Supplementary reading

Handouts and Part II, Tools for Healing, including the Human Development Tree.

Orientation + 15 workshops

Sixteen facilitated meetings: Orientation, then Sessions 1 through 15. Workshop, session and homework numbers match one to one — Workshop #1 is Session 1 and Homework #1.

The organizational journey

Completion before certification

The course is not bypassed on the way to becoming a facilitator. Certified completion of all 16 meetings is the prerequisite for facilitator training. The license belongs to the organization; certification belongs to each trained facilitator.

  1. 01

    Choose the license

Select a Standard or Access license based on funding, number of sites and expected cohort volume.

    See license options
  2. 02

    Name prospective facilitators

Identify the staff members who will first enter M2M as participants and may later lead groups.

  3. 03

    Complete all 16 meetings

Every prospective facilitator must complete the full course and receive certified completion before facilitator training.

  4. 04

    Attend facilitator training

Qualified participants complete two days of live training on the curriculum, group leadership, documentation and scope.

    Review training
  5. 05

    Earn certification

Successful trainees become Certified M2M Facilitators for 12 months and are authorized to deliver under an active license.

  6. 06

    Launch licensed cohorts

The organization runs the complete sequence with the videos, guides, assignments, handouts and completion records.

  7. 07

    Renew each year

Organizations renew the license, while facilitators complete a half-day refresher and cohort review to recertify.

What organizations pay for

Four separate parts

Annual license

Authorizes the organization to deliver M2M at the agreed sites and cohort volume. Standard plans begin at $4,500 per year; Access plans begin at $2,500.

Facilitator training

Two-day live training after certified course completion: $750 Standard or $500 Access per trainee. On-site cohort rates are available.

Annual recertification

A half-day refresher and cohort review: $200 Standard or $125 Access per facilitator each year.

Additional materials

Extra workbooks, facilitator books, handout sets and certificates may be ordered separately when more are needed than the license includes.

Part II

Tools for healing

The second half of the guide is a reflective workbook. Its centerpiece is the Human Development Tree: a man maps his soil and roots — what family and environment planted — then the fruit those roots have produced and the consequences that followed. It is slow, uncomfortable, and it is where most men find the thing they had been working around.
